Coworkers.

I love the people that I work with. I don't know how many people can honestly say that but I can. This is what I get at work after finding out that I was accepted into ASU's nursing program...

Guess what...

I finally received the letter today - telling me whether or not I was accepted into the ASU Nursing Program for the Fall 2010 Semester... I'll let you read for yourselves.

I had a group presentation tonight in my Culture & Health class and let me tell you- it literally felt like a weight had been lifted after we had presented and it actually went well! I had been stressing over this project ALL week. I don't think many of the group members had realized our presentation was this week until I began pestering them with my e-mails. Somehow- amazingly we pulled it off though.. and it went REALLY well. Besides technical difficulties towards the beginning-it could not have been any better.

I really had been stressing over school all week- mostly about this presentation- but about other things as well. This presentation was the last thing for this week I had to get through... so I just kept telling myself- just get through Thursday! Well I made it. Now to begin studying for my Human Pathophysiology exam- oh joy!!!

I am taking an intro to parenting class online and I loved what my teacher has on one of his powerpoints...

So I just wanted to say I love you to my parents & I am so grateful you decided to take this job upon yourselves!

Finals.

3 finals down... 2 more to go. I am ready for school to be out for the semester... I just need to get past the last 2 finals-which unfortunately happen to be the hardest of them all, and they're on the same day. Oh joy :) I cannot wait to be done though... just a few more days..

microbiology fun.

I think my microbiology lab is my favorite class this semester. I love all of the fun stuff we get to do. One of the first things we did was swab bacteria on different mediums using different methods. The first picture is right after swabbing bacteria in the petri dishes... the second (sorry I couldn't get this one to load any smaller) is after we let it grow. The red plate has a sheep's blood medium in it and the bacteria in this plate was swabbed from my very own arm! Comforting I know. Some other people in my class swabbed under their fingernails.. their foot... and the results on the plate were scary! (by the way sorry for the underline- for some reason it is thinking there is a link here and won't let me take off the underline)
