merry late christmas & happy late birthday!
I'm a little behind on getting (well making and finishing) my friend Deja's Christmas and Birthday but I FINALLY have it finished and was FINALLY able to get it to her. I love you Deja and Merry Christmas & Happy Birthday!
It is sad to say.. that Deja did not YET have a quilt from me. So I figured that that had gone on too long and that it was time she did. This is the first quilt I have made that has more than 2 fabrics on the front so that was fun. The first picture shows what the front looks like and in the second picture you can see the back fabric from where I have the corner folded over.
I love taking pictures- as I'm sure it very obvious and love doing things with pictures. I picked a picture of us that I loved and found a quote I liked and photoshopped them together. Afterwards... I scrapbooked the picture into a frame! I didn't realize until now that I did not take a picture of the final product on my camera-only on my phone- so below you will see what the picture looked like that I edited and the second picture you can see the final product scrapbooked. :)

I love you Dej!
quilt that i just finished...
here is the quilt that in the previous post i said i had just finished..
i love this one.. definitely is a favorite of mine :)
oh dear...
so one of my goals this summer was to sew more..
I finished the rag quilt this week that i was working on!!!! I will post a picture of it as soon as I give it to the person it is for :)
but over the past years I have made rag quilts for various friends in their favorite colors... I (unfortunately) didn't always take pictures of them but I have a few. I really wish I would have taken pictures of them all because some of them have been REALLY cute... but here are some of them...
Andrew's Quilt (love this one)
Courtney's Quilt
Jacob's Quilt
These next two are ones that I have kept for myself and since I never took a picture when they were first made- I took pictures of what they look like now so they're a little faded and ragged...
So where does making a lot of quilts over the years leave me...?
With lots of left over scraps... so my next project is to take this:
and make a patchwork rag quilt out of all of the scraps. :)
